Kelvyn is Co-Director of Guest Wines. His passion for wine has seen him qualify to WSET Diploma level and he leads on the company’s tastings and events.
Ruth runs Guest Wines as Co-Director with Kelvyn. Her love of travel opened her eyes to the world and fuelled a growing passion for wine. She has the WSET Advanced qualification.
Guest Wines came about as a thought, an aspiration, back in 2008. It took 5 years of learning about and re-training in wine whilst working in other jobs before we took the plunge and gave up our day jobs.

Now 10 years on we work with amazing and talented people in the world of wine and hospitality. We offer trade accounts to businesses based in the North East, our local area. We also sell wine to customers all over the UK through our website.
We’re always learning and evolving. The business is more challenging than ever but our love for the wines we sell only grows.
Ruth has just spent time in Saint Emilion, Bordeaux immersed in vineyard and winery visits, seeing and hearing first hand from producers how Bordeaux is evolving and modernising. It’s been a fascinating experience, which you can read more about very soon.
